In this light hearted session, Judy Crowe begins by outlining what the
session will be, she talks about the gentleness of chi kung movements,
teaches participants abdominal breathing and the benefits of laughter for
health. It is an easy and fun session.
1. Warm up - gentle exercises
2. Chi kung breathing and stretching movements
3. Laughing-chi exercises
4. Cool down - gentle exercises, standing quietly
Judy developed this laughing-chi therapy when asked by the Manager of Gopals
Vegetarian Restaurant in the city. For six months she held sessions at lunch
time once a week. From that came a number of corporate jobs including the
Westpac Bank who asked her to do a session after their team meeting.
Judy is also a qualified Naturopath and Tai Chi Teacher and has developed
the laughing-chi therapy from her work at the Royal Women's Hospital with
women who have cancer - to rekindle the ability to laugh, and ignite joy
through this expression.
