WORK LIFE BALANCE WORKSHOPS &
KEYNOTES
Most Australian
employees say they struggle achieving work life balance. Long hours and
regular absences from home often have a negative impact on health and
wellbeing. Personal relationships suffer and employees often report elevated
stress levels resulting in higher levels of absenteeism, staff turnover and
decreased productivity.
Kate James presents a series of work life balance seminars and keynotes
designed to assist you and your staff in achieving work
life balance. Her target audience is 25 to 40 year old professionals working
within forward thinking organisations who are already taking the work life
balance conversation seriously.
WORK LIFE BALANCE WORKSHOPS
Kate revives participants' interest in pursuing both personal and
professional satisfaction. Through activities and discussion that focus on
the individual, she will
encourage your employees to open the door on the possibility that work life
balance can be significantly improved by making small, achievable changes.
The following workshops are designed to help your team achieve their own
version of work
life balance. Format is half day, with ideal group size being between 10 and
20 participants.
'Whether speaking
one on one with clients or addressing large audiences, Kate speaks
eloquently and with warmth, bringing simplicity to some of life’s most
daunting questions. Earlier this year, Kate addressed a Public Relations
Institute of Australia event on the subject of career rejuvenation. Nearly
six months later, I still have total recall of her main message which I have
shared enthusiastically with friends and colleagues alike. Her personal
reflections, interspersed with the wisdom of professional practice as a
career coach were delivered in a way that the audience related to easily,
enabling us to implement real change in our lives.'

‘Kate, just a note to say a big thank you for the talk last night. The
feedback was very positive and I think that we all took something away from
it. Your style is great, with just the right balance of relaxed delivery
without diminishing the importance of the material, and engaged the group
throughout. I hope we can work together in the future.’

KEYNOTES
Kate speaks to women's groups about a range of topics designed to
improve work life balance and to inspire women to follow their dreams (as
she has done).
“Thank you for a very interesting and informative session you conducted
at CitiPower/Powercor today. Work life balance sometimes seems a term that
is quite hard to define, but you prompted lots of thought-starters for me.
One thing I found vital - recognition that the balance can and does change
frequently, depending on issues that are happening in either my work or
private life. I hadn't truly realised that before now.
Thank you for putting so much of yourself into the presentation - it makes
it so much more interesting.”
